Kids will learn the art of shutting down unfriendly situations and prevent bullying. The most common advice given to kids and one that often doesn't work is to ignore the mean words and walk away. This camp will teach kids how to shut down situations with tone of voice, body language and the words they can say. They will learn when they need to get an adult involved and strategies to prevent oneself from being in a bullying situation. Role plays, poster activities, games included. The kids will swim after lunch. Bring a snack and reusable water bottle, swim suit and towel.
