« back to classes page
Basketball is a team sport in which two teams, opposing one another on a rectangular court, compete with the primary objective of shooting a basketball through the defender's hoop mounted to a backboard at each end of the court, while preventing the opposing team from shooting through their own hoop.  Classes Twist:  As we move through the basics and get more comfortable with dribbling, passing and shooting I would like to be able to spend some time teaching kids games that make playing basketball easier and more fun by eliminating the need for 5 v 5 play.  We will be learning traditional games that can be played with as few as 2 people such as 21, H-O-R-S-E and Around the World (aka School).
