MOTOR CITY EVOLUTION - Friday Night Lights Girls Basketball League: Division 1 (Grades 5-7)

FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS GIRLS BASKETBALL LEAGUE:
     DIVISION 1: GRADES 5-7:
   
Friday Night Lights is designed to teach game strategy & team skills through competitive play.  Players register as individuals and are assigned to teams.  The first two weeks are practices and skill sessions followed by a six-week season. All games and practices are Friday nights.  This is a great program for players to learn the game in a fun yet structured environment. Friend requests are taken but not guaranteed. Berkshire Middle School, Birmingham Covington School
Friday start times of 6:30, 7:30, 8:30
January 9 through March 20 (no games Feb 13)
$170 per player ($155 + $15 Materials fee)
 
LEAGUE DRAFT DAY (at Berkshire MS)
To participate in the league, all players must be evaluated at the 2026 Evolution Draft Day.  This is a mandatory event where players will be evaluated and placed onto teams.  Players will participate in various drills and then scrimmage in front of coaches. Draft times will include a parent meeting where league policies and procedures will be discussed.  Players should wear either a black or white shirt to the draft.
 
DIVISION TWO: (Grades 3-4):
Friday, January 9, 6:45-7:45pm
DIVISION ONE: (Grades 5-7):
Friday, January 9, 8:00-9:00pm
SUPPLEMENTAL DRAFT DAY:
