Students discover this Japanese art form.  Young artists take pencil to paper and learn the fundamentals that make manga so iconic like hoe to draw expressive faces and striking hairstyles.  The instructor guides students through its history and cultural significance.  As they develop their artistic skills, students add bodies, outfits, backgrounds, and dialogue to create their own characters and scenes.  At the end of the course, students create and proudly showcase their own original manga story.
