The science of Yoga uses precise postures (Asanas) and controlled breathing techniques (pranayama) that integrate energetic connections between body, mind and spirit. Participants explore the insight both through the basic Asanas, while increasing muscle strength and flexibility. Class participation will include sun salutes, basic standing postures, forward and backward bending, positive inversions, twists, reducing stress and seated meditations. Bring a mat to class. Instructor Lynn Dowe offers intentional and inspiring yoga practice for all ages and abilities.
